The airline is rewarding frequent flyers for their first Airbnb stay this week.

Whether you’re booking a last-minute Easter getaway or planning your next vacation early, now’s a good time to book your Airbnb if you’re a Qantas Frequent Flyer. If you’ve never made an Airbnb booking and do so through Qantas by this Sunday 25 March 2018, you’ll earn 1,000 bonus Qantas Points!

Regularly this first-time booking bonus is only 500 bonus Qantas Points, so this is an easy way to get even more bang for your buck. If you’ve already booked an Airbnb before but haven’t ever done it through Qantas, you can still earn 500 bonus Qantas Points if you book through the airline website. Plus, you’ll also continue to earn the standard 1 Qantas Point per $1 spent on Airbnb bookings.

You can choose from over 3 million homes worldwide, but let’s look at some of the potential points you could earn this coming Easter long weekend. Let’s say you and some friends wanted a coastal getaway to Coffs Harbour from Thursday 29 March to Easter Monday 2 April. You could book a jetty apartment for $302 per night ($1,209 for four nights). With a service fee of $158, that would bring your total to $1,367. This means that you’d earn 2,367 Qantas Points all up!

This isn’t enough to redeem a flight or any other substantial rewards, but it’s an easy way to give your points balance a quick boost on your next vacation. If you booked with a Qantas Frequent Flyer credit card, you could even triple dip and earn even more points per $1 spent!

If you prefer a hotel over Airbnb, you can also save 25% on selected accommodation booked through Qantas Hotels by 2 April 2018. This includes bookings made for stays until 31 July 2018 at Adina Apartment Hotels, Medina Apartment Hotels, Rendezvous Hotels, vibe Hotels, Travelodge Hotels and Hotel Kurrajong Canberra. There are no bonus points with this offer, but you’ll continue to earn 3 Qantas Points per $1 spent on Qantas Hotel bookings.
