Discounted flights from Australia to 11 destinations starting at $1139 return.

Return flights with Etihad Airways to Europe, the Middle East and America are now available from $1139 return in the airline’s new Explore a World of Experiences sale.

The sale’s cheapest fares are to Italy, including Perth to Venice for $1139 return, Melbourne to Milan for $1145 return and Sydney to Venice for $1157 return.

Business class fares are also included in the special includes flights to Perth to New York City from $4871 return, Brisbane to Amsterdam for $5271 return and Sydney to Milan for $5286 return.

Etihad’s business class seats are located in the Business Studios (on flights between Australia and Abu Dhabi), with fully lie-flat beds, direct aisle access from all seats, in-seat massage function and use of the Etihad chauffeur service.

Flights from Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane are discounted to nine destinations in Europe, plus Abu Dhabi and New York City (Perth only).

The sale comes at the same time as rival airline Qatar’s sale dropping Europe fares down to as low as $915 per person, with perks for travelling in groups of two to eight people.

Etihad's Explore A World of Experiences sale is on until 11 September.
