These destinations won't break the bank for this Easter Long Weekend.

The new year is officially in full swing. This means that we're all itching for our next holiday and the long weekend is just around the corner.

Expedia has done some research into how you (and the whole family) can save up to a massive 20% off international flights and over 15% off domestic airfares by booking in February. When compared to booking in April, you can avoid that last-minute rush and get a cheaper escape. Count us in!

The numbers have been crunched and you can save up to $348 with Expedia when you bundle flights and accommodation in one transaction. This is based on January to December 2018 bookings on all holiday packages including a flight and hotel with Expedia compared to those made in separate bookings.

Stuck on where to go? Well, destinations including Fiji, Bali, Phuket, Honolulu, Los Angeles, and Singapore are among the Aussie family favourites.

The best part is that there is a destination for every budget and type of traveller, so you've got no excuse to organise that getaway.

If it's more inspiration that you need, other hotspots worth checking out are Auckland, Ho Chi Minh, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur.

The deal gets even sweeter if you're an Expedia Rewards Gold member, as you could score free room upgrades at VIP Access hotels. Other perks include complimentary wine upon arrival and vouchers for spas and restaurants – now that's getting your money's worth.

Not a Rewards member? Not a problem. Be sure to check loyalty and membership programs with any hotels you are looking at, you could score some free goodies by joining.

Now if getting more bang for your buck is right up your alley (and we are sure that it is), then head over to Expedia right now to lock in your Easter escape.

February will be over as the hot cross buns hit the shelves, so don't wait around.
