Sand & Sky fans get ready! This beauty brand just launched a new range of glow products that you need to know about.
Yes, Sand & Sky is a brand close to our hearts, not just because it's a homegrown powerhouse, but because the beauty brand has built its success on harnessing the unique power of Australian ingredients. Australia has some of the world's most unique and nutrient-rich flora, and Sand & Sky has introduced us to a new ingredient we'd actually never heard of before, emu apple.
It's a golf-ball-sized fruit found in the Eastern outback regions of Australia and is being heralded as a new super-ingredient. Sand & Sky is one of the first to explore the benefits of this Australian botanical. The new range has two products called The Australian Emu Apple Super Bounce Mask and The Australian Emu Apple Dreamy Glow Drops, and as you can probably tell, these new products are all about achieving a plumped up glow.
The Emu Apple Super Bounce Mask is very different to Sand & Sky's famous Australian Pink Clay Mask. The clay mask is all about pulling toxins and oils out whereas the bounce mask is about pouring antioxidants and moisture in. It's a little different from other products because the superpowers of this mask come from all Australian botanicals.
The Emu Apple Super Bounce mask starts with a supercharged mix of berries including riberry, pepper berry and of course emu apple. These berries are packed with antioxidants which protect your skin from pollution, environmental factors and free-radical damage. Then there's Kakadu plum, the world's richest source of vitamin C, which delivers concentrated levels to boost your glow.
This mask also has five different types of hyaluronic acid. If you know anything about hyaluronic acid, you know you need lots of different kinds in order to reach every layer of your skin, otherwise you might actually dry your skin out. So we're very happy to hear that Sand & Sky made sure its formula goes the distance. The results? Plumped up skin that holds moisture and glow from within.

The second product, the Dreamy Glow Drops, is a product somewhere in between a serum and a face oil. Again, it's got the brand's 5-level hyaluronic acid complex, a very important base for any serum. Then it adds extracts from the emu apple and other berries to encourage your skin to increase its own production of hyaluronic acid – very important for all day moisture.
It finishes off with a hot-shot of Kakadu plum vitamin C to brighten and protect for a luminous, healthy-skin glow. The ingredients are suspended in a jojoba oil and squalene mix for a nourishing, non-comedogenic (anti-pore clogging) finish. Use morning or night for an instant antioxidant glow.
Excited? So are we. It's always amazing to discover the raw power of new Australian native botanicals and we'll definitely be giving these new products a go. So stay tuned for reviews.
