What’s new on the iPhone 6?

Clearly the most noticeable new feature on the iPhone 6 is the much larger screen when compared to the iPhone 5 (4.7 inches as opposed to 4 inches). The resolution is also much clearer.

Next to receive a boost is the processor (up to 1.4GHz), while the camera and battery life also received notable improvements. The smooth metal surface and streamline design of the iPhone 6 look wonderfully sleek and, at only 6.9mm thick, it will easily fit into your pocket.

What’s new on the Samsung Galaxy S6?

The Galaxy S6 is 13g lighter and 1.2mm thinner than the S5 which, though it may not sound like a huge difference, is something you can definitely feel as soon as you pick up the phone.

While the 5.1-inch display size is the same as the previous model, the biggest design news is the shift from plastic finishes to a very slick combination of aluminium and glass. As a result, certain features of the S5, such as expandable storage, removable batteries and waterproofing, have gone by the wayside.

Other major changes include an increase in display resolution (from 432 ppi to 577 ppi), new hardware (Snapdragon 801 is gone, replaced by Exynos 7420, Quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A53 and quad-core 1.9 GHz Cortex-A57 CPUs), Optical Image Stabilisation and a faster camera.
