Malaysia Airlines is running some hot deals for the next few days, with flights to Thailand being among the hottest of the bunch. These prices, which start at $567 return, are available until 21 August or sold out, with flight periods right now so you can leave as soon as tomorrow.

To put these prices, like Melbourne to Phuket from $646 return, into perspective, consider for an ultra-cheap Scoot budget sale in the same travel period we've seen fares down to $309 return For right-now flight dates on a full service airline, these prices are well worth taking. Even at couple hundred dollars more they could work out better for the checked luggage and in-flight meal you may have to tack onto your budget airline bill.

All prices are full-service and all flight dates are in August and September 2017 for warm weather all-around, although you might catch the start of the rainy season if you book for the very end of the flight period.

  • Perth to Phuket from $567 return
  • Melbourne to Phuket from $643 return
  • Adelaide to Phuket from $646 return
  • Sydney to Phuket from $657 return

Flights are on sale until 21 August unless seats sell out.
