Sale: Jetstar flights to Phuket from $292 return

No stranger to Australian holidaymakers, Phuket has all the makings of an island getaway, from its azure waters to its powder soft sands. To get you to paradise that much faster (and on budget) Jetstar currently has a sale on flights to the Thai island with prices starting from $292 return.

This leading fare is for departures from Darwin, although departures from Perth start at just $296 return.

The last notable fare by Jetstar of this kind was over Easter, where the budget carrier dropped flight prices to Phuket to $204 return. While that sounds like quite a jump from the $292 its charging at the moment, bear in mind that these were on journeys during the island's peak wet season (May to September), while the journeys for this sale are closer to the end of the wet season: August to November.

If you're searching for the ideal trip to Phuket, with sunny skies and dry weather, dry season falls between January to April. So for the perfect mix of weather and value, try flights between October and November.

Flights depart from Darwin or Perth when flying with Jetstar however departures from Melbourne, Sydney and Gold Coast are also available on a combination of Jetstar and AirAsia flights for under $330.

The lowest fares are as follows:

  • Darwin to Phuket: $292 return (flying Jetstar)
  • Perth to Phuket: $296 return (flying Jetstar)
  • Melbourne to Phuket: $314 return (flying Jetstar and AirAsia)
  • Sydney to Phuket: $319 return (flying Jetstar and AirAsia)
  • Gold Coast to Phulet: $327 return (flying Jetstar and AirAsia)
