If you want to make your way to London, STA Travel has the deals. Buy by 30 September, and you can score an excellent discount on Royal Brunei Melbourne-London flights for dates between 2 October and 30 November (inclusive).

The same Royal Brunei sale a year ago came in around $50 cheaper than this at best, but this sale is still in the realm of exceptional value, especially when you're flying with a luxurious carrier like Royal Brunei.

Melbourne is the best of the bunch, but STA's also scored sale prices for other cities with different airlines.

  • Melbourne to London on Royal Brunei - from $949 return
  • Perth to London on Thai Airways - from $1,175 return
  • Sydney to London on China Eastern - from $1,195 return

For all of them, you you can book online at STA Travel.

The Melbourne prices are really exceptional, while the other ones are also pretty good, although perhaps a bit more expensive than you might find elsewhere.

For the most part, you can't really go too far wrong. Score a flight for under $1,000 and you've done very well. Snag it for under $1,200 and you're still doing well, especially when you're flying in style.
