Posted: 18 July 2019 12:19 pm

Happy cruise ship passenger.

But hurry because these prices are only sticking around until midnight 19 July.

Tax return on its way? Deciding where to put those extra dollars? Why not treat yourself by putting it towards a holiday?

Even if you only end up a few hundred dollars richer, P&O Cruises has the sale that can send you away without having to dip into your savings.

Prices start from just $148.76 per person for a 2-day getaway from Sydney to Brisbane – and that includes all standard inclusions such as food from selected dining venues, select activities, entertainment and kids' activities. This price is per person, based on a quadruple share.

Cruises on sale travel around the Queensland Coast, to Tasmania, Kangaroo Island, Vanuatu, New Caledonia and Indonesia.

If you'd prefer a long break but don't want to leave home soil, you can take off to Tasmania for 7 nights from $578.85 per person, based on a 4-person room share or discover the Great Barrier Reef and beyond for a couple of cents more.

Those rolling in a healthy return can give themselves the ultimate present with this Christmas cruise to the South Pacific's best spots. Ports include Santo, Champagne Bay, Port Vila and Noumea. You'll spend 10-nights away and won't lose too many annual leave dates as you'll be travelling on Christmas and Boxing Day. Prices start from $1,049 per person, based on a 4-person room share.

Sailings are for a range of 2019 and 2020 dates.

Searching for something else? Check out the full list of discounted sailings on the P&O Cruises website – but don't delay as this sale ends midnight 19 July 2019.
