Rowi Singh is an actual icon. If you somehow managed to miss her creative, inspiring and out-of-the-box looks on the gram then go check it out because you will be hard-pressed to regret it.

Rowi has been a key opinion leader in the style space for quite some time now, paving the way to show you how to step out of your comfort zone and put on the damn hot pink shadow. This is why her collection with Mountain and Moon was the perfect fit.

The Australian Jewellery label is known for its incomparable designs and unique pieces that made this collection with Rowi a powerhouse in the accessory industry.

Each item is so unique! Where did you pull your inspiration from for this collection?

"The collection is inspired by all my favourite things – from my favourite fruit to favourite flower, to aspects of my culture and star sign. The collection is creative expression at its finest, pulling colours and symbols that scream decadence and drama."

You've worked with quite a number of brands in your career. What felt right about creating this jewellery collection with Mountain and Moon?

"Mountain and Moon has been a long-time fave for me. I was happy to invest in a local Australian label that prioritises on-off quality pieces, gives back to charity and engages in sustainable practices. Everything is statement and works perfectly with the looks I create."

Do you have a personal favourite in the collection and if so, which is it?

"I loveee the Rekha earrings. Sunflowers are my favourite flower, and the dusters with the crystal droplet are so unique."

There are 9 styles in this collection from necklaces and earrings to rings. What was the process of creating this jewellery collection? Were there any pieces that didn't make the cut?

"We had so many ideas, and wanted to make everything work! The collection was initially smaller, but expanded with a few more earrings and stone options so we can bring it all to life in the best way. We started by mood-boarding colours, flowers, Leo star sign visuals and other symbols that inspired me, sketching up ideas and diving straight into samples. The Kajol earrings are actually inspired by traditional Indian jewellery called Jhumkas, but with a contemporary twist."

You're a natural for the big, bright and bold. But for those who find it difficult to wear or style statement jewellery, what tips or tricks do you have for them?

"Always let the statement jewels do the talking and pull back on everything else. Try pairing the Deepika earrings with a black blazer and jeans for something more casual and day to day or adding the Rani necklace to a plain white tee. Jewels are the perfect way to elevate your look without needing a fancy outfit or crazy makeup."

On a more personal note, how does statement jewellery and wearing your own collection make you feel?

"The jewels are like armour, I feel POWERFUL. Adorning myself in Mountain and Moon pieces elevates my look and takes my confidence to a whole new level."

With no doubt, this is going to be an absolute hit. Do you think we can expect to see more jewellery edits with Mountain and Moon in the future?

"I really hope so! I think this is just the beginning."
