Pink Gold Galaxy S7 Edge is now available in Australia

Alex Kidman 20 July 2016

If you’ve been hanging out for the Pink Gold variant of the excellent Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, your wait is over.

Samsung officially announced the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge back at Mobile World Congress in a variety of colours. It followed those announcements with the reveal of the Pink Gold coloured Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge back in April, launching in Korea only.

Since then, it’s been all quiet on the Pink Gold front, so if you were enticed by the concept, you had little to go on.

Samsung has started selling the Galaxy S7 Edge in Pink Gold in Australia, but for now only for direct outright sales at an asking price of $1,249. There’s no sign of the Pink Gold colour for the Galaxy S7 smartphone just yet, which remains available in Black Onyx, Gold Platinum and Silver Titanium colours.

None of the major carriers that offer the S7 Edge on contract are as yet making the Pink Gold variety of the S7 Edge available on contract, so if you’re keen on the S7 Edge in this colour you’d be best served matching it up with a contract SIM-only or prepaid mobile plan.
