REX soars with discounted flights between Sydney and Melbourne from $79

REX is shaking things up with cheap flights between Australia's two largest cities.

- Price: Great. Compared to Australia's other full-service airlines these prices are as cheap as they get between Sydney and Melbourne. Right now, you'll find Virgin slinging $99 Sydney-Melbourne flights and Qantas charging even more with fares from $125 each way. If you do feel the cost is still steep, budget airline Jetstar has flights from $61 each way based on a trip on 1 March 2021. This doesn't include checked luggage or meals though.
