How do these prices fare?

We compared these Rex fares to those that Qantas recently launched.

In the latest Qantas sale, Adelaide-Melbourne started from $129 one way. Rex has the same route from $59 a pop, saving you $70 on each leg of the trip.

Note that although the travel dates are similar, Qantas' sale runs from May to December.

This sale is available until 30 November, unless sold out prior.

How good are these fares?

  • Flexibility: Great. Rex has a COVID Refund Guarantee that offers customers a full refund if their plans are impacted by COVID-19. This guarantee also includes border closures.
  • Airline: Great. Enjoy 23kg of checked baggage, a light meal and a 7kg carry-on all included in your full-service fares.
  • Frequent flyer points: Great. Earn 2 flights for every 18 you take with the Rex Airlines loyalty program. A 2-year membership is a mere $99 a pop.
  • Travel time: Great. Enjoy direct routes across these Rex flights.
  • Weather: Good. Escape to our sunshine state with a trip to the Gold Coast. The best time to go is between April and May as the weather is warm and there's less chance of rain.
