You can now sign up for Revolut in Australia, here’s how the pricing compares

You'll pay $22.99 per month for the Metal account.

Neobank Revolut has landed in Australia and has been quietly signing up thousands to its waiting list for months. Now, you are able to see how much you will pay for an account as well as download the Revolut app on iOS and Android. It offers a tiered subscription-based account service which it will be bringing down under. The app is currently available throughout Europe, including the UK, with its primary account features centred around travel.

Revolut account-holders in Australia can choose from three pricing options: $0 per month for a Standard account, $13.99 per month for a Premium account or $22.99 per month for a Metal account. In the UK, the Standard account is also £0 per month while the Premium account is £6.99 per month and £12.99 for the Metal account.

You can currently download the app for iOS or Android. Here is what Australian Revolut account-holders will get with each option and how it compares to the UK:

Standard

Price: $0 per month

You can spend in over 110 currencies at the interbank exchange rate, be charged no fee for ATM withdrawals up to $350 per month and exchange in 15 currencies up to $9,000 per month for no fee.

The main difference between Australia's standard account and the UK's is that their no-fee withdrawal limit is lower at £200, but they also get a free EURO IBAN account.

Premium

Price: $13.99 per month

You can spend in over 110 currencies at the interbank exchange rate, exchange money in 15 fiat currencies without a limit and enjoy ATM withdrawals up to $700 per month for no fee. You will also receive priority customer support, a premium card with exclusive design, disposable virtual cards and global express delivery of your card. You'll also receive access to over 1,000 airport lounges worldwide with LoungeKey Pass access.

A huge difference between the UK's premium account and Australia's is the price, with their's being £6.99 per month. They also receive overseas medical insurance with this account, access to up to five cryptocurrencies and delayed baggage and delayed flight insurance.

Metal

Price: $22.99

The much-hyped Revolut Metal card will be available in Australia and will come with up to 0.1% cash back within Australia and up to 1% cash back outside Australia on all card payments. You will also be able to spend in over 110 currencies at the interbank exchange rate and exchange money in 15 fiat currencies with no monthly limit for no fees. You can also withdraw up to $1,050 per month for no fee.

The account comes with global express card delivery, priority customer support, the exclusive contactless Revolut Metal card and disposable virtual cards, and access to over 1,000 airport lounges worldwide with LoungeKey Pass access.

In the UK, the Metal account costs £12.99. You receive what you do with Premium as well as an exclusive concierge service and a higher limit (£600) for fee-free ATM withdrawals.
