You also get priority security clearance while moving throughout the airport as well as access to duty-free shopping and a 15% discount for pre-ordering online. Frequent flyer perks
Air Canada allows travellers to upgrade to Business Class using frequent flyer points. However, the number of points needed for an upgrade varies from flight to flight and which frequent flyer points you need to upgrade. While flying Business Class with Air Canada, you can earn additional Altitude Qualifying Miles, but these are dependant on how far you’re travelling.The Altitude Qualifying Miles you can accumulate are up to 150% of what you normally would collect flying with Air Canada.
Space and seating
With a total of 40 seats in Business Class spread across two cabins, you have multiple choices when you’re flying in style. The forward Business Class cabin has 26 seats that are spread across seven rows. There are four seats per row for every other row except the last one, which has two seats on the window side. There is also the mini cabin which has 14 seats with two seats in the first row and four seats in the other three rows.
No matter where you sit on this Business Class flight, you will benefit from the fully-flat bed layout that is on offer with Air Canada. There is uninterrupted aisle access (which is good for quick trips to one of the three available washrooms). When completely horizontal, the flatbed is 203.2cm long and 53cm wide with adjustable options for both the cushion that allows for maximum comfort, and the headrest which comes complete with head-and-neck massage settings. The flatbed also offers lumbar support and a massage function.
Once you’re on board an Air Canada 777 flight, you will find bottled water plus a complimentary amenity kit filled with travel essentials, such as earplugs and an eye mask accompanied by Canadian-brand Escents Aromatherapy skin care products on your seat. The ambient mood lighting flows in sync with the time zones you’re travelling to and from so as to stabilize your internal rhythms and alleviate jet lag. No children are allowed in Business Class, so you can rest easy on that front too.

You also have access to a 45.72cm touch screen entertainment system, as well as a video touch handset, noise-cancelling headphones and a single-pin audio jack if you’d rather use your own headset.

The complimentary meals that are offered in Business Class will have your mouth watering, with a variety of salads, main course meals and snacks to choose from. You also have access to a wide range of drinks, such as champagne, beer, wines, spirits and hot beverages such as coffee. There’s also a selection of cheeses and desserts to choose from that varies from flight to flight. Their high-quality food is served with precise presentation, so it’s delicious and Instagram-worthy.
