Return flights to London from Melbourne now $898

Alex Keshen 8 August 2016

Discounted flights to Heathrow available in October and November.

Airfares to London (Heathrow) are now available for as low as $898 return with the latest sale from Royal Brunei through I Want That Flight.

Travel dates are limited to departures between 2 October and 9 November, but for $926 return you can also travel from 1 May until 8 June 2017.

The last notable flight sale to the UK we found saw fares at almost $100 more than these $898 fares.

These flights include 30kg of checked luggage and in-flight entertainment. The Melbourne-Brunei-London route is flown on the airline’s fleet of Dreamliners.

While most of the discounted flights to Europe we’ve seen have travel times of 30 hours or more, this route has a total journey time of about 26 hours. You’ll have a quick 2.5-hour stopover to change planes in Brunei and a brief touchdown in Dubai for an hour.

By comparison, some of the next cheapest fares are about $200 more.

I Want That Flight also has discounted flights to London from other cities in Australia, including Sydney from $996 return, Perth from $1108 return, Brisbane from $1208 return and $1209 return.
