How to apply

Applying for the Regional Australia Bank Visa Platinum Rewards credit card can be an easy online process which takes only a couple of minutes. You could alternatively also call 13 20 67, but make sure you meet the following eligibility requirements before applying.

Eligibility criteria checklist

  • How old are you? You must be 18 years or older to apply.
  • Are you an Australian citizen? You must be an Australian citizen or permanent Australian resident.

Card benefits

  • Earn Qantas Points. Earn 0.75 Qantas Points per $1 spent on eligible purchases (capped at $10,000 per statement period), and 1 bonus point per $1 spent at the Qantas Store or qantas.com. Eligible purchases exclude balance transfers, cash advances, BPAY transactions and purchases made while the account is in arrears.
  • Annual 10,000 bonus Qantas Points. To collect the Regional Australia Bank 10,000 bonus points each year, you need to keep the account in good standing throughout the year. This includes not letting the account go into arrears at any time during your 12-month membership year. When you meet the eligibility requirements, the 10,000 points will be added to your monthly rewards balance in month 11 of your first membership year, then on each following 12-month anniversary.
