Quickly catch up on the Hargreeves siblings before the new season premieres.

It has been nearly 2 years since The Umbrella Academy last premiered a new season. So we wouldn't be surprised if you'd forgotten what had happened with the show. But fear not, there's no need to go back and cover maybe 20 or so hours re-watching the series. We have a super-quick recap of what happened in seasons 1 and 2 for you right here that will take only 2 minutes of your time. Here's what to remember before The Umbrella Academy season 3 starts.

Season 1 recap of The Umbrella Academy

Season 2 recap of The Umbrella Academy

Now you're all ready for The Umbrella Academy season 3. So, what are the details?

When does The Umbrella Academy season 3 come out?

The Umbrella Academy season 3 releases on Wednesday 22 June. All 10 episodes will release at once.

Where to watch The Umbrella Academy season 3 online

You can watch The Umbrella Academy season 3 on Netflix. Here are all the details you need to know about Netflix, including price and how to sign up.

The Umbrella Academy season 3 preview

Here's what to expect from The Umbrella Academy season 3, per Netflix. After putting a stop to 1963's doomsday, the Umbrella Academy return home to the present, convinced they prevented the initial apocalypse and fixed the timeline once and for all. But after a brief moment of celebration, they realise things aren't how they left them.

Enter the Sparrow Academy. The Sparrows immediately clash with the Umbrellas in a violent face-off that turns out to be the least of everyone's concerns. Navigating challenges, losses and surprises of their own – and dealing with an unidentified destructive entity wreaking havoc in the universe (something they may have caused) – now all they need to do is convince their dad's new and possibly better family to help them put right what their arrival made wrong.

Will they find a way back to their pre-apocalyptic lives? Or is this new world about to reveal more than just a hiccup in the timeline? Find out when you watch The Umbrella Academy season 3.
