Need something to treat your pesky pimple? You need to give this a go.

Why we love this product

I have acne-prone skin, so unfortunately, I am well aware of just how annoying a pimple (or two) can be. No matter how many times you cleanse your skin or put on a face mask – pimples just happen. For some, they are unavoidable, especially if your hormones are going crazy. I love to use spot treatments because it feels like I am directly treating the problem and there's a better chance of it leaving my face. I have tried quite a few on the market but in my opinion, the Real-U Remove Spot Treatment works the best.

The quick verdict

Why is it good? It dramatically reduces the size and redness of my pimple after just a few applications.

How much is it? $32

Where to buy it? Real-U online.

The Real-U Remove Spot treatment is designed to work on any active or healing pimples. The theory behind the brand is to keep the skin healthy and balanced while controlling acne of any kind. So, Real-U created breakthrough skincare technology and the formula actually took 30 years to perfect!

It's free from benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid, which are both common ingredients in acne skincare products. Instead, it contains a unique marine-complex salt. What does it do? The Remove Spot Treatment, alongside the rest of the range, inhibits acne-causing bacteria and reduces swelling and inflammation. It's packed with all the right antioxidants to heal, repair and strengthen skin cells for an overall clean and clear complexion.

All products from Real-U are vegan friendly, hypoallergenic and dermatologically tested. There's a bunch of other products in the Real-U range, including a cleanser, serum and moisturiser. I tried them myself... and I am obsessed. I love the way it makes my skin feel – soft and smooth with a gorgeous glow!

The Remove Spot Treatment is suitable for sensitive skin and has quickly become a cult favourite among the Real-U community. I personally use it at the very first sign of a pesky pimple and continue to do so to speed up the healing process. You don't need much product, just a pea-sized amount will do.

Simply massage it into the affected area after your skincare routine and allow it to dry before following up with sunscreen or makeup. I use it every single day, morning and night but the brand recommends more frequent use if you like, around three to four times a day. After about two full days of use, I notice the pimple has reduced in size and the redness has gone down too. This is a must-have product for anyone who wants to get rid of a pesky pimple fast!

Affordability

For 15mL, the Real-U Remove Spot Treatment will set you back $32. While it's a little pricey considering the amount of product you get, the stuff truly does work and you don't need to use a lot to see results. I would definitely purchase this over and over again to help me achieve clear skin.

Where to buy

You can pick up the Remove Spot Treatment from Real-U online. The retailer offers Afterpay, plus free shipping on all orders over $50. You can also check out eBay. The brand hasn't dropped into any official beauty stores yet like Priceline or Chemist Warehouse but we hope to see it in the near future!
