Gamers wanting a high refresh rate and lots of power can now order the Razer Phone 2 on contract terms through Optus.

When Razer announced the Razer Phone 2, it stated that it would be available for both outright sales in Australia as well as on contract terms through Optus. Unlike the original Razer Phone, which went on sale in Australia many months after its US debut, we're set to get the Razer Phone 2 in the same month as its announcement, although the end of November is rather rushing towards us.

We're still waiting to find out the actual local price for the Razer Phone 2 outright – Razer's local site is still sitting with a "notify me" alert for pricing at the time of writing – but Optus has today announced its plan pricing for the Razer Phone 2 if you want one on contract.

We've already put the Razer Phone 2 through its paces, and you can read our full Razer Phone 2 review here.

As you'd expect, the Razer Phone 2 is a premium-positioned phone, running Android 8 with a Snapdragon 845 CPU, 64GB of onboard storage and 8GB of RAM. We were impressed with its screen quality, a key factor for mobile gamers, as well as the strength of its onboard speakers.
