How long does it take to open a Robobank savings account?

If you’re an existing customer, you can log into internet banking and open an account instantly, if your application is processed automatically, and you’ll receive your (bank-state-branch) and ACC (account) numbers instantly to fund the account. If you’re a new customer, you should set aside 10 – 15 minutes to complete the application. If your application is processed automatically, you will also immediately receive your BSB and account numbers. if there are any delays with processing your information, you may need to wait 24-48 hours for the bank to verify. With Robobank, am I correct that the monthly interest cannot be transferred automatically to another bank account?.

That’s correct, the interest is automatically credited to the savings account that earned the interest.
I am my mothers Enduring Power of Attorney, and I look after her finances on her behalf. She doesn’t have a computer or a mobile phone. Can I arrange an account in her name using her address, security details etc, but using my email address and Mobile number. I can supply documented proof of the EPOT.

Hi George, yes you can transfer money into the account as a normal bank to bank transfer using the BSB and Account Number.
