Refunds, exchanges and returns for Quilt Direct

New, unopened items may be returned within 30 days of delivery with a full refund if the goods are not as described. Quilts Direct will also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of their error such as incorrect or defective product. The refund should be expected within four weeks. Quilts Direct does say that the refund may be sooner, but they allow a transit time of between 5 and 10 days, a processing time of 3 to 5 business days and a bank processing time for the refund of between 5 and 10 business days.

    Hi I also placed an order through Quilts Direct in Feb and still haven’t received anything. The 4 emails that I’ve sent have not been replied to and the contact no. goes to a voice mail. Just wanted to let Robyn know that she isn’t the only one to have been caught out and I will definitely be placing a dispute through PayPal. Thanks for the letting us know about this service.

      Hi everyone…
      Oooh!!! so annoying! I also placed a large order Jan 5th 2015. I have made contact with them via email three times and each time they apologized profusely and extended the date of delivery using the Christmas rush period as an excuse for the delay etc… I gave them to 27th March as a final date and still no delivery. I also will be putting in a complaint to Paypal as now it seems the web page is not available either.

      Hi All,
      I have been caught out by this company also. I placed an order on the 6th Feb. I asked for a refund before the item was shipped but they have shrugged off any responsibility and reckon they have shipped the item. I still haven’t received the item and they wont respond to any of my emails request a refund to my credit card. I guess I have lost the $70. But I just cant see how this company can still be running if its this dodgy! Very disappointing

      Hi Janette and Robyn, I too have placed an order (on the 27th Feb) through Quilts Direct which I haven’t received. I have sent an email but have had no reply. My payment was on credit card through eWay so I don’t think I will have any luck getting my money back. This stinks, while it wasn’t a huge amount spent, to me it was a lot.

      Yes unfortunately this is one of the few times that I have been caught out online and it is very annoying. I’m not sure what will come of my PayPal enquiry but hoping that I can get some reimbursement. I’m not sure whether it’s worth taking your enquiry further? I would look into it … as you say it’s a lot of money to be throwing away! I will keep you posted via this channel as to any outcome via PayPal. Good Luck!! Thanks Janette

    has quilts direct melbourne closed down as im waiting for an order to arrive and also a refund. ive tried sending emails to them but there is no reply. thanking you robyne

      To our knowledge Quilts Direct is still available for business. If you made your payment through PayPal and you are unhappy with the resolution, you can submit a dispute through PayPal to get your money back.
