Qatar Airways unveils new four-seater QSuite for business class passengers
Queue that seat envy now.
Luxury 5-star airline Qatar Airways has set new standards for business travel in the skies, today unveiling its swanky new four-person suite configuration at ITB Berlin, the world's largest travel trade show.
This new business class suite is a world first. Each seat features handstitched leather and satin rose gold finishings, customisable seats and maximum device capabilities.
The new configuration allows a party of four to sit together, dine together and socialise seamlessly, making it a luxurious and functional option for business travellers and families. Despite this social atmosphere, Qatar doesn't compromise on privacy or comfort, offering sliding monitors (for the centre suites) that can partition the party when required and double-beds within the suites for couples and families to enjoy.
Communal dining options have also been introduced to complement the suite, with snack sharing dishes available throughout the flight on top of Qatar's existing dine-on-demand service.
If all that isn't decadent enough for you, the QSuite also features a new next-gen user interface of Oryx One, which is its entertainment platform featuring over 3,000 entertainment options, luxurious bed linens, cotton Business Class sleeper suits and bespoke amenity kits.
The QSuite will debut on the new Boeing 777-300ER on the Doha-London route from June 2017.
Qatar isn't the only airline to delight us with new seats this year. Last month Qantas unveiled its new premium economy seat for long-haul flights on its Dreamliners. For those of us who can't afford to splash the cash on a business suite with Qatar, it's definitely a sweet option.
