Qantas Orange flights launched with cheap sale fares
There's not a lot to "wine" about with Qantas' latest flight route.
Qantas has announced that from 11 May 2020 it will begin 11 weekly return flights between Sydney and Orange, New South Wales.
To sweeten the deal you can also score sale fares starting from just $129 each way and residents of Orange will also receive free Qantas Frequent Flyer program membership.
The route will open up 45,000 new seats to those who are commuting to and from the Central West town, whether that be for business or leisure.
The introduction of the new flight path comes as welcome news to residents as it forces prices to be more competitive amongst airlines. This will go hand in hand with more connectivity with partner airlines including Emirates and American Airlines.
You won't be wanting for places to include on your itinerary either. We recommend checking out the hike up to Mount Canobolas, picnicking in the Botanical Gardens, exploring the Borenore and Verandah Caves and sipping only the finest wine at Rowlee Wines and Vineyard, Ross Hill Wines or De Salis Wines.
QantasLink CEO John Gissing says how "These additional flights will make it easier for Sydney residents and domestic and international tourists to discover one of New South Wales' most beautiful regions, with its world-class restaurants and wineries".
For those of you heading to Orange before the Qantas take-off date, REX Express Airlines has you covered with 25 return flights between Sydney and Orange every week.
