Qantas is helping us escape the cold of winter by flying us to sunny Los Angeles for the gloriously bright price of $917 return.

Direct flights depart from Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, so you won't have to worry about the hassle of a stopover... or having to wait that much longer to touch ground in a warmer climate.

Indirect flights are also available from Perth, Adelaide, Cairns and Canberra.

These fares are available for travel between 11 July and 30 November 2017, as well as between 19 January and 5 April 2018. These times include prime summer dates (of course), as well as prime travel dates outside of the peak period. So, if you'd prefer to avoid those summer holidaymakers, you can!
