Find out when and where you can shop the quirky new sneaker line.

Following the success of its first collaboration back in October 2018, sportswear giant PUMA has once again teamed up with the late Karl Lagerfeld to drop two pairs of seriously cool new kicks.

The spring/summer 2019 collection will see both PUMA's Roma and Roma Amor sneakers reimagined in sporty-chic, black and white designs that give a nice nod to Lagerfeld's signature aesthetic.

The first style up for grabs is the new Roma iteration. Crafted from soft black leather, the shoes are available in both men's and women's sizing. The playful footwear features white polka dot detailing, over-sized Karl Lagerfeld branding and co-branding on the tongue.

The Roma Amor edition continues the chunky, platform silhouette of the original design, but features a satin upper and an exaggerated platform midsole with over-sized Karl Lagerfeld branding. The kicks feature the same quirky polka dot design as the Roma edition, but adds a splash of pink to the black and white colourway.

The new collection will mark the first collaboration between the brands since Karl Lagerfeld's passing in February at age 85. The iconic creative director was known for his ground-breaking high-street collaborations along with his signature tuxedo and dark sunglasses combination.

When and where can you shop the collection?

The two spring/summer 2019 sneaker editions will pre-launch on 15 May exclusively from both the PUMA and KARL sites for US$130 each. A global release is also scheduled for 16 May at select Karl Lagerfeld stores and PUMA stockists, meaning that we may yet see them drop into usual retailers like Platypus Shoes.

Also set to drop on 15 May is PUMA's second collaboration with Disney Queen Selena Gomez. The Strong Girl collection will feature a range of activewear gear including tights, tanks and tees alongside a range of 90s style sneakers.
