Updated: Every PS4 Pro launch game confirmed
UPDATE: Our full PS4 Pro Review is now live.
The PS4 Pro is releasing on November 10 and here are the games that will make use of the new format on day one.
As announced at September's PlayStation Meeting, Sony's mid-generation console upgrade is set to be the norm moving forward and on November 10, a considerably improved PS4 will be released in Australia for $559.95, which is $110 more than the standard PS4.
The PS4 Pro offers 4K support for games and streaming media (which, of course, requires a 4K TV), twice the horsepower thanks to an upgraded x86-64 Jaguar AMD CPU with 8 Cores and a 4.2 teraflop AMD Radeon GPU, and a 1TB hard drive, as well as super-sampling, HDR and advanced anti-aliasing (which does not require a 4K TV).
But what’s a super new console without games that make use of its advanced power? Sony has finally announced the full lineup of games that will be available when the console launches on November 10.
35 games from a number of developers will introduce PS4 Pro compatibility. The full lineup features a number of older PS4 titles from Sony like Infamous: Second Son, as well as recent blockbusters like Titanfall 2. While some titles will offer 4K quality directly from the disc, in many cases the PS4 Pro will need to download a free update for the older game in order to deliver the higher quality visuals.
