Presto gets Scandal-ous with American Crime

Alex Kidman 24 December 2015

Presto has added additional shows to its December lineup with political thriller Scandal and American Crime available on the streaming service from today.

Presto has made some last minute pre-Christmas additions to its streaming lineup, although it’s hardly festive fare to speak of.

Scandal is a political thriller starring Kerry Washington as a media consultant who specialises in cleaning up the public images of prominent people. In production since 2012, it's from prolific producer Shonda Rhimes (who is also the creator of Grey's Anatomy. Seasons 1-4 are now available on Presto, as well as the first 9 episodes of Season 5. Presto plans to fast track the rest of the season from the US once it airs there in February. The show has aired on Seven (no surprise there as Seven is a partner in Presto along with Foxtel).

American Crime Season 1 is also available on Presto as of today, with the second series set to appear on Presto as an exclusive in January. American Crime stars Felicity Huffman, Regina King and Timothy Hutton in a racially tense drama centred around a murder case. It's an anthology series, with series 2 seeing a new set of characters.
