Presto adds The Bastard Executioner to its December lineup

Alex Kidman 14 December 2015

TBX Presto

With a title like that, you can guess that this isn’t a series for everybody.

The Bastard Executioner is available to stream on Presto from today, and as you might expect with a title like that, it’s not a series aimed at the entire family.

Starring Wilkin Brattle, Katey Segal and Stephen Moyer, it’s a dark medieval tale set in 14th century north Wales that tells the story of a warrior given divine inspiration to lay down his battle sword and instead become a journeyman executioner. As you do.

Yes, that’s a weird precis for a series, but the trailer is rather evocative of certain other series. We’re pretty sure you can work out which ones.

The Bastard Executioner joins Presto’s existing announced lineup for December.
