Presto adds Android TV compatibility
Presto has expanded its device compatibility to include Android TV-compatible sets.
Presto has announced the availability of a client application for Presto customers with Android TV sets, including Sony’s 2015 range of Smart TVs and the Asus built Google Nexus player, available to download from Google Play now.
One advantage of this approach over using, say, an Android-based Chromecast for streaming is that you should be streaming directly to the Android TV device rather than relying on a casting situation where streaming crashes can sadly be all too common.

The following devices should be compatible according to Google compatibility guidelines, but your experience may vary (and some aren't actually available in the Australian market officially speaking):
Freebox Mini 4K– fbx6lc, LGE ST940I-UP, LGE LAP250U, NVidia SHIELD Android TV, Razer TV, Philips QV151E, Philips MT5593FHT_EU
Presto is still sitting behind Netflix when it comes to overall device compatibility, but the addition of Android TV does keep it competitive in terms of large screen playback devices, joining solutions such as Telstra’s Telstra TV set top box and the ability to send to Apple TV set top boxes via Airplay.
