The Position Exchange is a decentralised exchange (DEX) situated within the decentralised finance (DeFi) sector. Marketed as a “central exchange killer”, the platform offers users access to a decentralised derivatives trading that is executed on-chain. In addition to derivatives, the exchange offers access to swaps, earn products, NFT technologies, and bonds.
According to the project’s website, the Position Exchange is seeking to close the gap between the functionality of cryptocurrencies and the opportunities available within DeFi. To achieve this, the DEX was developed using the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) blockchain and, therefore, leverages the blockchain’s technology to offer superior trading capabilities for investors. With its derivatives, swaps, and earn products, Position Exchange hopes to combine the benefits of DeFi with the traditional tools and experiences from Centralised Finance (CeFi).
POSI is the native cryptocurrency of the DEX and offers several advantages to token holders. POSI token holders can earn passive income from staking, cast NFTs within the NFT module, earn a share of all transaction fees, and access trading fee discounts. In addition to platform perks, all POSI token holders are entitled to vote on the development direction of the DEX.
