Pokémon GO Plus accessory coming to Australia and New Zealand in September
Nintendo has announced availability for Pokémon GO Plus via Facebook and Twitter.
Since its launch, Pokémon GO has sent society as we know it into a tailspin. From police involvement to suspicious search histories and eventually global domination, Pokémon GO has quickly claimed 2016 as its own.
However, one thing missing from its insanely popular launch was the oft-touted Pokémon GO Plus accessory, which was initially promised to be released at the same time as the app. We've been wondering about when Australians would be able to get their hands on the watch-like accessory, but we now have confirmation from Nintendo for a September release for both Australia and New Zealand.
The #PokemonGO Plus accessory will arrive in September. Please stay tuned for pre-order/purchase details in AU/NZ.

Though no specific date, preorder details, or participating retailers have been revealed, Nintendo have stated more information is on the way.
Some retailers, including ozgameshop, are still listing the item for a 29 July launch. Ozgameshop and Amazon will likely come into stock when an exact release date is eventually announced.
It's also worth noting that, while there's no official word from EB Games yet, its US counterpart GameStop announced preorders a long time ago.
