The PlayStation Store Winter Sale gets hotter with new games and deeper discounts

Matt Sayer 2 August 2017 NEWS

One last batch of bargains before the sale wraps up on 17 August.

Sony's cranking up the heat on its PlayStation Store Winter Sale today, with a bunch of new PlayStation 4 games joining the already impressive line-up of discounted PS4, PS3, PSVR, and Vita titles. Standout additions include the brilliant first season of HITMAN, a game that gives you the chance to dress up as a fashion model, strut the catwalk then subtly trigger a remote explosive to drop a chandelier onto the head of a Russian spy. For $36, how can you say no to that?

Other highlights include the blindingly fast futuristic racer Wipeout Omega Collection, which combines Wipeout HD, Wipeout HD Fury, and Wipeout 2048 into one graphically-overhauled package for $31; the stealthy open-world assassination of Sniper Elite 4, which is down to $40; and the physics-defying action of Gravity Rush 2, which has plummeted to a measly $31.

We've picked out the best new deals added to the sale and listed them below. If you're looking for more recommendations, you can also check out our original guide to the best deals from the PlayStation Store Winter Sale.
