PlayStation Pro vs Project Scorpio vs Nintendo Switch

Brodie Fogg 21 October 2016

Two down, one to go. Should you invest in PS4 Pro or Nintendo Switch or hold out for a Scorpio announcement?

At September PlayStation Meeting, Sony beat its console competitors to the punch by announcing November availability for the PlayStation 4 Pro. That makes Sony the only console manufacturer with a fresh horse in the race this Christmas, with Project Scorpio and Nintendo Switch arriving in 2017.

That raises an interesting question. Do you potentially jump the gun and fork out the cash for the PlayStation 4 Pro in November, or keep holding on for more Scorpio and Nintendo Switch news?

To help you make that decision, we've compared the three consoles side-by-side.

*Note: While we know some specific details about the PlayStation 4 Pro's specs, much of what we know is rumour and hearsay. We'll update the table below with official specs the moment they become known.
