Fly to Phuket with a big AirAsia sale. You can get a flight from Perth to Phuket for $305 return, Sydney to Phuket for $389 return, Melbourne to Phuket for $411 return or Gold Coast to Phuket for $389 return.

These prices are worth your while. You can occasionally find cheaper sales, but those might be more likely to have the downside of limited space or travel dates.

This sale lets you pick up flights for a wide range of dates, stretching from May to June, and July to December in 2018. The downside of those is that you expect some tropical showers and visibility for diving and snorkeling might not be ideal. The upshot is lower prices, fewer crowds and weather that's still plenty warm.

Have a browse below, grab the flights that call out to you and just follow the link to Flight Centre for bookings. This sale runs until 19 November, so that's your cutoff to make bookings.
