The relationship between Pharrell Williams and adidas continues to thrive.

Singer and producer Pharrell Williams is continuing his long-standing relationship with legendary sportswear label adidas. The two have worked on countless sneaker collaborations, including the Human Made Love pack, the 4D runner and the Greyscale collection.

This time around, Pharrell Williams is re-imagining a different shoe – the adidas Superstar.

But why the Superstar silhouette? Well, it just so happens to be the iconic sneaker's 50th anniversary.

Official images have yet to be released at this stage. All we've seen is the sneaker previewed all over Pharrell's Instagram page. He's been posting a ton of behind-the-scenes images and we cannot get enough!

It's hard to tell what the sneakers truly look like from the pictures. But from what we can see so far, the classic shoe is crafted from a gorgeous white leather. It features an array of multicoloured embellishments, with a statement black heel tab.

No official release date has been set for the Pharrell Williams x adidas Superstar, but we can expect it to arrive within the next few months. Watch this space – we'll be posting all the details as they come to surface.

You'll be able to shop directly from adidas online. In the meantime, you can check out some of our favourite adidas stockists like JD Sports, THE ICONIC, Platypus Shoes and HYPE DC.
