PC power supply price analysis: Amazon Australia vs Australian retail

We've compared PC power supplies from Amazon Australia to see how their prices stack up against other Aussie retailers.

You could have the fastest graphics card, an eight-core overclocked CPU and a neon-soaked computer case, and none of it would matter if your computer's power supply is a dud. Electricity is the lifeblood of a PC, after all, and cheaping out on a dodgy power supply (PSU) is an invitation for a short-circuit that destroys your entire rig.

While a lot of cases come with PSUs built-in, they're often on the lower-end of the quality spectrum, and if you've just dropped hundreds or even thousands of dollars on the rest of the your PC's components, you'll want to spend the extra time and money making sure your PSU is up to scratch.

To help you with that, we've rounded up some of the most popular PSUs on the market and compared the best prices from Australia's biggest tech retailers, Amazon Australia included.

Prices were last checked on 22 Dec 2017 and may be subject to change. Prices include any discounts but exclude potential shipping charges.
