It's a rare event to see flights to Paris drop below $1,000, let alone under $900, but 5-star carrier Singapore Airlines has done just that.

Right now, it has seats to the French capital starting from just $843 return. This is on departures from Perth; however, there are sale fares under $1,000 return from other major cities as well. This includes Melbourne-Paris from $898, Sydney-Paris from $899, Darwin-Paris from $1,159 and Brisbane-Paris from $1,219.

You'll have to depart in the off-season in late-October and throughout November 2017 for these prices, but there are numerous dates available so you do have options.

These are last-minute, seat-filler fares and are only going to stick around while seats do. Honestly though, at these prices, it's only a matter of time until they're snapped up.

They're available online from Flight Centre now.
