OVO’s latest broadband deal gives you 150GB per month

$89.95 for a whole lot of prepaid data on OVO's newest mobile broadband deal.
If you want a serious quantity of mobile broadband data, typically you've either got to look to a contract deal or any of the existing 3G-only mobile broadband offerings to get your fix. OVO has announced its latest (and heaviest) prepaid OVO mobile broadband plan that seriously challenges that kind of thinking, providing 150GB of data for $89.95 per recharge.
To give that 150GB data figure some context, it would allow you to stream over 200 hours of standard definition Netflix per month without going over quota. Because it's a prepaid service, if you do go over quota your data access will cease, although you can mildly top it up, either with 500MB for $5 or 1GB for $10, up to a maximum of 3GB of topped-up data.
As with its OVO Mobile services, the underlying network is the Optus 4G network, and it's essentially a SIM-only service with a 30 day recharge period. You could throw the data-only SIM into just about any device, but if you need one, OVO sells the Huawei E5573s WiFi modem as an optional extra for $59 outright. If 150GB is actually too much data for you, OVO also offers a 50GB/$59.95 plan or a 100GB/$69.95 plan.
As with all of OVO's plans, you'll get access to OVO's streaming services without incurring data charges, including motorsport, sailing, gymnastics and water polo and its recently announced eSports streaming coverage.
