Four years ago, the iPhone 7 was the latest Apple release. However, these days it's becoming increasingly rare to find the iPhone 7 being offered by mobile plan providers. While Optus no longer offers the iPhone 7 on a contract plan, Telstra and Telechoice both have a handful of plans available for it.

Compare alternative iPhone 7 plans

The iPhone 7 may be more than a couple years old now, but the age of the iPhone 7 means that it could potentially be a cheaper alternative for someone looking for an iPhone without needing to pick up the latest high-end model.

Still want an iPhone plan with Optus?

If you're still keen on joining Optus because you're happy with them as a provider, consider checking out alternative iPhone options such as the iPhone XS or XR. Both are slightly older iPhone models released in 2018, so they'll be priced slightly cheaper than the latest iPhone model. You can choose other versions of the iPhone to compare in the table below by clicking the 'filter results' button and adding in the handset of your choice.
