Here’s what you’ll pay for a Galaxy S8 through Optus and when you can buy one.

Optus will commence online pre-sales for the just-announced Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ from 12:01am (AEDT), Friday 31 March with actual availability of handsets from 21 April 2017.

Orders through Optus (as with other carriers, and indeed any orders placed for outright sales through Samsung’s online store) will receive a free Gear VR headset, although that will ship separately from the phone itself. As an added incentive, any customer on any plan tier will get full access to Optus Mobile TV streaming for the life of the plan.
