What types of online courses are available?

The Great Courses provides custom built and presented courses by leading experts in their field. They do not provide nationally recognised or accredited courses.
So you won’t find any courses from the qualifications framework here, these courses are all for personal development and learning.

Any Government funding or financial assistance available?

Unfortunately not. The Great Courses are based in the US, and since they don’t provide Australian accredited the aren’t eligible for any government subsidy or funding. These courses are more for slightly more about professional and personal development, over developing skills that are specific to professional roles. Unfortunately, this means they may have to be paid for out of your own pocket.

Can I transfer any previous credits?

No. The Great Courses are not built up of credits like Australian accredited courses typically are. This means that no credits can be transferred into this course, and your course, should you complete it, can not be used as credit for future courses.
