How do I sign up for an online course with Australian Vocational Learning Institute?

If you’re interested in signing up for a course, or knowing more information, then head over to the AVLI website using any of the links on this page. When you’re on the website you’ll see a green bar at the top of the screen.

Simply click this bar and leave a message for one of the AVLI course advisors. They’ll contact you back and you can take it from there. Or if you’d rather not speak to someone and are sure you’re ready to enrol, then simply click ‘Enrol’ on your course page and you’ll be taken through a simple booking process.

What fees and prices can I expect with Australian Vocational Learning Institute?

Your course fees will vary depending on your course type, but to give you a rough idea. A Certificate IV in Business Administration will cost approximately $2,880. There will, of course, then be other costs including learning materials, internet use or devices, but tuition is usually the majority of the expense.

What types of online courses are available?

All of the AVLI courses are available online. This means that you will access all your course content, whether that be reading materials, online discussion groups, videos or audio files, entirely online. This also means that you can study at your own pace and whenever you want, free of being on your institution's schedule. This can be difficult though, and requires discipline and determination, so be sure you’ve set yourself a realistic target before signing up.

Any Government funding or financial assistance available?

If you’re worried about the cost, don’t let that hold you back. There is a lot of funding and help available to those looking to skill up and improve their careers. We’ve written up a lot of information on VET FEE help and other government sponsored initiatives, so be sure to check out the guides. It is possible to get funding for courses through the AVLI, and if you’re eligible it is well worth exploring.

Can I cancel my course?

It may be possible to cancel your course before or during orientation, but you will almost certainly have to forfeit some of your course fee. Once the course has started however, you will not be able to cancel or claim a refund, so ensure that you know the course that you wish to study and that you have the time and determination to complete it.
