The Taiwanese capital of Taipei is an exotic mix of Asian cultures and cosmopolitan cityscape. It's the kind of city where the smell of street food calls to you from every corner and narrow lanes beg to be explored.
In 2016 the Mastercard Global Destinations Cities Index ranked Taipei as one of its fastest growing cities in terms of international visitors. To help you beat the masses to discover this beautiful city AirAsia has the FOMO Friday sale you've been looking for.
For 24 hours only the Asian carrier has flights from Australia to the Taiwanese capital from $199 one-way.
Sample fares available in this sale include: Perth to Taipei from $199 one-way, Melbourne to Taipei from $249 one-way and Sydney to Taipei from $259 one-way.
These low prices are for select travel dates between 1 May and 31 July 2017 and all include a stopover in Kuala Lumpur.
As a low-cost carrier, this price does not include extras such as checked baggage, on-board meals and in-flight entertainment. These can be purchased during the booking process for an additional fee.
AirAsia charges a $10 processing fee per flight per person on credit and debit card purchases. You can avoid this by paying with PayPal.
The AirAsia FOMO Friday sale ends 3am AEDT on 25 February 2017 unless sold out prior.
