Find out when and where you can shop the exclusive and limited-edition Year of the Rat capsule by Off-White.

Chinese New Year is just around the corner, this year falling on the 25 January. The holiday marks the turn of the Chinese calendar – a new moon in the middle of the winter solstice and the spring equinox.

Iconic streetwear label Off-White has just announced the drop of a brand new collection and here's what you need to know. The project is called the "LUNAR NEW YEAR" capsule and it commemorates the Chinese holiday in style.

When can you get your hands on it? The statement collection will arrive on 8 January. You should be able to purchase from Off-White online and retail stores, as well as stockists like Farfetch.

You can expect to see an array of womenswear, menswear and accessories. The featured colourway looks to be bold shades of black and red and this represents fortune, good luck and joy. 2020 is the Year of the Rat, so it makes sense that funky illustrations of rats cover the pieces.

We're absolutely obsessed with the graphic Off-White logos. Statement arrows and quotation marks are printed throughout the hoodies, crewnecks, T-shirts and jeans. Some of the womenswear pieces feature pink floral imagery which brings a girly touch that we love.

An obvious design looks to be the phrase "GOOD LUCK". It's marked on several items in the collection, including scarves, handbags and T-shirts.

Off-White isn't the first fashion label to commemorate Chinese New Year – just last week, Gucci unveiled a Mickey Mouse collection dedicated to the holiday. A whole heap of iconic makeup brands have also jumped on the trend. You can check our round-up of all the collections we've seen so far.
