Beauty product of the week: Nude by Nature Shimmering Sands Loose Eyeshadow
This is one of the easiest products to work with.
Why we love this product
If you've tried Nude by Nature makeup before you'll know how wonderful the colour cosmetics are. And this little bottle of shimmery dust is definitely one of my favourite purchases from the brand.
The Shimmering Sands product comes in three shades and I opted for the dusty pink colour Rose Sand. It's fresh and great for toned-down natural looks, but can be built into something more dramatic. Plus the colour reminded me of an effortless beauty look I saw on Marissa Cooper in the O.C. season 1.
This product is shimmery without being overly glittery. So it's absolutely fine to wear during the day without looking like you belong in a nightclub.
It's also extremely easy to work with and blends beautifully. I normally have to put a cream base on before using a loose shadow but you really don't have to with this product - unless you want to.
But you don't have to just treat this as an eyeshadow - it totally works as a double duty product. When I went to Coachella this year, this product was my highlighter and blush and it made me feel like the prettiest sparkly, boho-mermaid. I even wore it on my lips mixed in with a bit of gloss.
This product ticks all the boxes. Great colour. Very pigmented. Easy to apply. Lasts all day. And most of all, it's just really fun to wear.
I paid $22.95 for this eyeshadow at Princeline, which isn't crazy expensive but could be considered pricey since you can get a whole Maybelline The Nudes eyeshadow palette for $25. However, you do get a lot of product in the bottle and sometimes you have to spend a bit extra to get pretty things.
