Overview

The Nubia Red Magic 3S has...

A larger battery than 96% of similarly-priced phones
A larger screen than 85% of similarly-priced phones
A higher-resolution rear camera than 86% of similarly-priced phones
A higher-resolution front camera than 69% of similarly-priced phones

The Nubia Red Magic 3S is a smartphone built for gaming on the go. Powered by a high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ CPU and either 8GB or 12GB of RAM depending on which model you purchase, it has enough grunt to handle the latest and most complex 3D mobile games.

A large 6.65-inch AMOLED screen gives games and apps plenty of space to work with. The display runs at a refresh rate of 90Hz, too, allowing for smoother motion than the 60Hz most phone screens operate at.

To handle the heat build-up that can plague mobile gaming, the Red Magic 3S features an active cooling system combining an internal fan, liquid cooling and air vents for heat dispersal.

Beyond its guts, the Red Magic 3S sports two capacitive touch "triggers" on its side which can be mapped to different in-game actions. Twin stereo speakers handle the audio, with support for DTS:X and DTS 7.1 surround sound technologies.

A 5,000mAh battery provides juice for the Red Magic 3S' many power-hungry components. It supports 18W fast-charging, too, reducing the time you'll spend out of the action.
