Coming off a surprise wooden spoon in 2018, the Eels faithful would have been cautious at best heading into last season.
They need not have worried. While they took a little while to find their groove, Parramatta rattled off 8 wins in their final 11 regular season games to sew up fifth spot on the ladder.
That was followed by a record-breaking 58-0 annihilation of the Broncos in week 1 of the finals in a result that stunned the NRL. They were knocked out by Melbourne the following week, but the progress was there for all to see.
Mitch Moses is settled at halfback, winger Maika Sivo was the surprise star of 2019 and Ryan Matterson and Reagan Campbell-Gillard have joined the fold. The optimism around Bankwest Stadium is understandable.
Parramatta fans have 12 games left on free-to-air and a further 6 exclusive to Fox League. With so many matches on subscription services, you would be well advised to consider signing up to Foxtel or Kayo Sports.
Kayo is the cheapest available option at $25/month for a Basic subscription. That gives you access to two screens or devices. For $35/month you get a third screen. It also has an impressive array of features such as SplitView, Interactive Stats, Kayo Minis and No Spoilers.
The other option to watch the blue and gold in 2020 is the NRL Live Pass app. Telstra customers can access this for free. Though unfortunately, NRL Live Pass is limited to just a seven-inch display size.
We have a complete guide on how to stream the 2020 NRL season, including the providers.
If you are outside of Australia during the NRL season, you can still tune in to watch the Eels via the Watch NRL app. Check out our guide on streaming the 2020 NRL season from overseas for more information.

Beginning life at the top level in 1947, Parramatta's only true era of success came in the late 1970s and early 1980s. And what an era they enjoyed. Losing grand finals in 1976 and 1977, they reeled off 3 straight premierships from 1981–1983 and added another in 1986.
Since then fans have had to endure plenty of lean years mixed with the odd highlight. They lost the 2009 grand final to a Storm team that was later stripped of the title over salary cap breaches. Parramatta were then punished for their own salary cap infringements in 2016.
They surprised many by sticking with coach Brad Arthur even after their terrible 2018 campaign, when they picked up just 6 wins. That faith was rewarded by last season's performance and they will be expected to take another leap forward this year.
