      Hi Ethan!

The Nintendo NX was announced as the Nintendo Switch last week. In the reveal trailer (which you can catch here), Nintendo showed off a brief glimpse of Mario Kart on the Nintendo Switch. Exciting stuff, hey?

      All the best,

Do you have heard any information for NX about having any Professor Layton game?
Best regards to all the fans of Nintendo!

      Hi Limoncello P,

Nothing has been hinted at or announced as of yet. With that said, the Nintendo NX will supposedly blur the lines between console and handheld, so it’s possible we will see traditionally handheld titles like Layton and Pokémon on the NX.

Will Pokemon series come out for Nintendo NX 2017?

      Hi Pokémon’s Fan,

According to sources “close to Nintendo” there will be a Pokémon game within the first six months of the NX’s release.

      Here’s hoping!

Square Enix said they have no intention to bring FFXV to the NX and Eidos said Deus Ex: Mankind Divided won’t come to the NX either, so you guys may want to scratch them off the list.

What’s up with the “NEX” in the titles?

      Geneva | July 10, 2016

I believe the final name is NEX as a throwback to NES and a play on the word “Next”.

      Hi Rubens,

The same source that leaked the games lists, also believes that the Nintendo NX will be officially called the Nintendo Next on release, which will be abbreviated to NEX – similar to the old NES and SNES days.

I think that would be a great name personally, but we’ll have to wait and see if Nintendo agrees.

No Splatoon 2?! Too many crappy games by Ubisoft, Nintendo! How could you let them do that?!
Until anything happens, I’m getting a PS4 to play Hatsune Miku instead of this list of crud.

Lets see, counting them off – Yeah, really freaking likely that Nintendo has 5 games for the NX but chose to only show off one at the biggest gaming show of the year. Because they just want people to think it has no games.

I saw that “trusted source” that says the next COD will be on NX. The source that said the next one would definitely, 100% be called COD Bloodlines. And that there would be a Destiny sequel. Which you actually included, wow.

You seriously think that they’re gonna bring FF XV to the NX? At this stage?

THe people who make Skylanders still haven’t gotten an NX dev kit, so good luck getting the game if the game makers can’t port it.

Considering reports that porting to the NX is incredibly easy, it’s not too far-fetched.

33 games i’m not interested in none of those.
being a ol skool gamer games you like hope to reboot for come back is less and less these days.
to many open worlds killing gaming as i know it.

They didn’t show the NX at E3 so it wouldn’t be over shadowed by other console and game announcements. So, yeah, it seems pretty likely they have stuff ready. Have you been paying attention to the Wii U library. You’re telling me all of Nintendo’s big game studios have disappeared from Wii U but they don’t have anything in development. Level 5, Retro, the Animal Crossing team. (Keep in mind Amiibo Festival and Happy Home Designer were out sourced to smaller studios.) Miyamoto’s team has been quiet since Pikmin 3. Or Nintendo’s younger developer team, the people that worked on Splatoon.

Also, Square has said on multiple occasions that they are willing to support the system. At this point Square and Nintendo have made up. Cloud in Super Smash Bros, the Bravely Default series, Dragon Quest on NX.

And there’s no question that COD will be on NX. COD was on Wii U for the longest time. And the “people who make Skylanders” is Activision. There’s no way in heaven or hell that ACTIVISION, one of the biggest game studios ever, hasn’t gotten a dev kit.

Keep in mind that Activision put effort into making a limited edition Skylanders Wii U. So yeah, I’d say its a safe bet that they would have an NX version.

Miyamoto need mentioned that Pikmin 4 was almost done last year.

It probably got delayed because Nintendo needs another NX launch title.

So they didn’t show the console because it would be overshadowed, so instead they shadowed it completely and totally, and left it in the dark. That’s sane

Level 5 ain’t a Nintendo studio. They’re working for Sony making a sequel to Ni No Kuni.

Retro, like Nintendos other non-japanese studios, has had to throw out whatever they were doing and start over from scratch as soon as Nintendo decided to dump the WiiU because it’s terrible, and have had to learn a while new system.

Miyamoto’s team just Made Star Fox Zero Redeeming Features.

The Splatoon team are making 3ds games, try again.

So reselling their old games and letting Nintendo pay Square Enix for the right to advertise Square Enix’s games is somehow a sign they want to bring a high effort game to them? Are you mental?

And by Cod being on WiiU for the longest time, you mean precisely u til the PS4 and X bone came out, at which point Activision kicked that POS to the curb.

Do you seriously think that Activision is only one big office where everyone is just making whatever game comes up? Skylanders is made by the studio Toys For Bob. They do not have, and Nintendo are not sending them, an NX development kit. It is impossible for them to make a game for this system.

Why would Activision care. Morons who bought a Skylanders price but can’t play it on the new system is not their problem.

Well, Square-Enix IS onboard with Nintendo. They themselves confirmed they would be releasing Dragon Quest X and XI for the NX, so why not FFXV? I’ve been waiting for a Final Fantasy game for Nintendo ever since the Snes era and no, Crystal Chronicles and Crystal Bearers don’t count!

If they have already announced the games they are bringing to the NX, why the hell do you think they would be coy about any other games at this point?
