Nike x Stranger Things third collection

The popular burn-to-reveal shoes were an instant sell out when they first dropped, but you can still get your hands on them.

Update: Following the immediate sell out of all three Stranger Things capsules, Nike has now re-stocked all the drops on its online store. Both the Upside Down collection mentioned below and the Hawkins High School Line and OG Pack are now available for sale once again.

Some pieces from each line are also still available from Farfetch.

Having already dropped two hugely successful Stranger Things inspired capsules, sportswear titan Nike has now released another collection to celebrate the epic Netflix show. We already got a sneak peek of the line, which includes three sneaker iterations, at an exclusive event held by footwear label BAIT, and it had us hoping that we would soon be able to get our hands on a pair of our very own.

It seems Nike has answered those prayers, because the kicks have now been released at the Nike online store.

What's in the collection?

Where the previous two Stranger Things collections featured some pretty bold colour schemes, the Upside Down collection is much more minimalistic in style. The Tailwind '79, Blazer and Cortez silhouettes are reimagined in neutral, yet retro designs for the capsule and also arrive in a textured "Sail" upper.

It wouldn't be a true Stranger Things collection without something a little wacky thrown in, which means that the sneakers are much more than meets the eye. Just hold a lighter to the rough fabric layer on the upper and reveal hidden printed text at the insole and a concealed logo in red at the heel. Bitchin'.

In addition to the strange heat-reactive hidden details, all three styles also feature white tonal laces along with Nike and Stranger Things co-branding on the tongue. Both pairs also come with alternative laces in black just in case you feel like turning the design Upside Down.
